I designed this bar height birdseye maple and black cherry dining set with my clients to fit well into their
kitchen for comfortable everyday use. It also features an 18" leaf (not shown) when entertaining requires a
little more space. Seating is also flexible with bar height chairs and a matching bench with room for two.
The table top and carved seats are made of 1" thick, incredible figured birdseye maple. The accents on the
seat backs are birdseye as well. The chair and bench legs, stretchers, etc. are black cherry as are the legs
and aprons of the table. The cherry will deepen in color with time to add even more natural beauty to the
pieces. The chairs, bench and table feature flared legs and arched aprons to add some formal visual interest
and a little Arts and Crafts aesthetic as well. The dining set is hand rubbed with multiple layers of oil
polyurethane to highlight the figure of the wood and provide maximum protection.
